This is an automated email from beehiiv, the service I use to manage the newsletter and subscriptions. It’s not spam or a phishing attempt; it’s simply a way to grant you access to paid posts on the website.
Previously, as Patreon subscribers, you didn't have access to the ad-free posts on the website. To fulfill my promise of providing an ad-free experience for paid subscribers, I needed to add you to the newsletter's subscriber base. That’s why you received the email (which I didn’t realize beehiiv would send out).
