MeisterSinger Paints Its 2026 Dutch Edition in Delft Blue and Tulips

I've noted several times that the Netherlands has a very, very interesting watch scene. They do stuff other's just aren't doing. Christiaan van der Klaauw is way beyond anyone else when it comes to planetariums on watches, the Grönefeld are the peak of high horology, De Rijke is just the most fun brand in the industry and Holthinrichs is pushing material science to the very edges. Then, we have MeisterSinger, the crazy folks that just insist that a single hand is the best way to tell time. And they're making it work. Since 2004, they've been releasing a special edition dedicated to the Netherlands. This years' just might be my favorite one, rendered in delft blue with a wonderful tulip lattice motif.

The NL Edition Tulip uses MeisterSinger's 03 case in stainless steel, 43mm wide and 11.5mm thick, with a sapphire crystal on top. The crown sits on the left side, as it has on every Dutch edition. Around back, a sapphire caseback held by four screws features a printed tulip. Water resistance is 50 meters.

The dial has two layers. The bottom one has a medium-blue sunburst finish meant to evoke Delft Blue ceramics, and on top sits a machine-cut white layer with an ornamental tulip pattern that lets the blue show through. Double-digit hour numerals sit on the inner ring, a five-minute scale runs around the edge, and a single blued needle hand points out the time.

Inside is the Sellita SW200, automatic and modified for the single-hand display, beating at 4Hz with a 38-hour power reserve. It's a dependable workhorse and nothing more. The strap is blue calf leather with crocodile embossing and a pin buckle.
